Hi Warrior Families!

Happy Mother’s Day, I hope all the Mom’s out there were celebrated and treated as special as they all are! We had a great end to our regular season on Saturday in Santee, thanks to all for making the trek down. We have seen a huge improvement in the boys ability and understanding of the game and all the coaches are extremely proud of how much they have grown as lacrosse players. With the Regular Season behind us, I wanted to share what we have planned for the next couple weeks.

This Week 5/9 – 5/14

Our 5/6 A and 7/8 A Teams both made the playoffs and have Quarter Finals home games on the SEMS football field this Tuesday. The 5/6 A game starts at 4:30 PM and the 7/8 A game starts at 6:00 PM. We are going to have the coaches focus on the playoff games and won’t have any B Team practices on Tuesday or Thursday this week. That said, we strongly encourage any B Team players to come cheer on the A Teams in their playoff games. The Playoffs are single elimination, the Semifinals will be on Wednesday to Thursday with the Championships in Coronado on Saturday 5/14 and the brackets are below.

Next Week 5/16 – 5/21

On Tuesday 5/17 we will have our Year End Party for the 5th – 8th Grade boys. It will be held during normal practice hours at SEMS and will be a day of fun competitions, pizza, drinks and a raffle for some prizes. I will send out an invite, please RSVP so we can plan for enough food and drinks. We will also use this as the time to return rented equipment. So please be prepared to turn gear in at the end of the party.

Unfortunately, the League decided not to have playoffs for the B Teams, but I am working to schedule a Year End event with a few other programs and hope to have the details released shortly. I will send an invite to confirm we have enough boys available to put a full team on the field, so please RSVP to that ASAP.

I think that is it for now, if you have questions, please reach out to me directly.
