Hi Warrior Families,

We wanted to take a minute to share a couple updates and pass on a few things.

Team Store – We worked with our game jersey provider to offer a Warriors Team Store this year. I’ve added a link to TeamApp. The store will stay open until 2/20/2022 at midnight with all orders shipping on March 7th.

Dick’s Coupon – For those of you looking to upgrade or get some new gear, the Sagan Family came through again and helped get us setup with a 20% off Dick’s Sports coupon for this weekend. I have attached the coupon below and will add it to Team App as well. If you don’t already have a mouth guard or two now would be a good time to pick some up

5th – 8th Grade Practices

Saturday – Last weekend was a great showing and a lot of fun, but it was hot. We are going to reduce the 5th – 8th Saturday practice by 15 minutes (10 AM to 11:30 AM). Please make sure the boys have enough liquids to stay hydrated.

Tuesday & Thursday – Initially we were worried we wouldn’t have enough room for all the boys to practice at the same time, but we feel as though we can start the 5th – 8th graders at 4:30 PM. Pre daylight savings, every minute counts, so starting next week, please have the boys geared up and ready to start practice at 4:30 PM instead of 4:45 PM

Laxfest – As we mentioned in previous emails, we are going to kick the season off for the 5th – 8th grade teams in Santee at Laxfest. We realize it is a bit of a hike and on a Sunday, but the coaches believe it will be a great way to have the boys get some field time against other teams that will help us focus on things we can improve on. I will be adding more details including game times as we get them. I will be adding it to the events portion of TeamApp, please RSVP so we know how many boys we will have.
